Working with Wordpress ...

I'm currently preferring Wordpress software over Blogger, so my current active site is hosted over at http://clockworkwizardry.wordpress.com

Experiences with Google's photo workflow empire

I decided to personally explore more of the online photography spaces, to include Shuttercal.

In addition to uploading yesterday's photo to my Shuttercal calendar, yesterday's workflow involved opening it in Google's Picasa 3 software, rename the file and add a caption, click the "Geo-Tag" button to load the EXIF location data using Google Earth, click the "Upload" button and then use the "Recommended" size of "1600 pixels" (which ended up as 1600x1200) to upload it online to my Google Picasa web album.  Within my online Google Picasa web album using the Google Chrome browser I then clicked the "Upload to Panoramio" web link.

If you go look at it in Google's Panoramio, http://www.panoramio.com/photo/33811322, what's cool is that there are two other pictures associated with that location, one is an almost identical shot, and one is looking back the other way.  :)

I then e-mailed my friend about it to his Google Gmail account  ... and blogged about it here on my Google hosted Blogspot web log using their Google Blogger software ...
